 Scott David Singer ISA, has owned and operated Singer Galleries, LTD. since 1981.  His years of experience in the world of antiques has given him a profound understanding of the marketplace.
Credentials:

In addition to Scott's multiple degrees and extensive experience he is a tested, accredited member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA).  Scott has attended many courses and lectures on the legalities and semantics associated with appraisals.  He has been an ISA member since 1985 and is currently Treasurer of the NW Chapter. He is also a member of the Chinese Ceramics Society of London and of the Textile Society of Hong Kong.

 		 
Education:

Multiple degrees from Arizona State University which include:

  • BA in Art History
    European and Baroque painting under Donald A. Rabiner, Ph.D.
    Chinese and Japanese painting under Ju Shi Chou, Ph. D.
    Chinese ceramics under Claudia Brown, Ph. D.

  • BA in Anthropology/Archeology

  • Minors in Business, Chinese Mandarin.

Verbal Appraisals
In office: $30 minimum, $10 per additional item
On site: $100 per hour

Written Appraisals
Charge by the hour for on-site time, research, and preparation: $125 per hour

Expert Witness
1-4 hours : $500
