Very large original oil painting on canvas by the French artist Suzanne Minier, born 1884.

Interior scene with mother serving tea to child. Titled, "Le Gouter" or Afternoon Tea. Lovely interior details with paintings on the wall, porcelain coffee pot, view out windows, desserts and flowers.

Framed in the original exposition framing with label on the back from the 1932 Paris Exposition of Beaux Arts. Front of the frame with a brass plaque engraved, "Le Gouter Suzanne Minier Me'daille d'or 1932 Paris 145 Exposition Des Beaux Arts." Paper gold medal also attached.

Overall in very good condition. Several small scratches and some crackling. Some rubbing to the edges from the frame. Frame with some paint loss.
