French 950 silver tray. Scalloped edge with acanthus leaves.
Alexandre-Auguste Turquet, Paris (1855-1882) maker's mark.
Retailed by Le Cointe, Paris.
Top and bottom edge engraved with griffin in crown.
Center engraved with fabulous crest. Double headed eagle in shield with man on each side holding a club. Top with griffin in crown on armored head.
Banner along bottom reads, "Diev en Ayde."
